How to Use Your Voice to Shape Your World as a Teenager
Welcome to the SHAPE Teens Mentorship session, where we explore the first of five powerful pillars of a successful teen—The Voice.
In this session, you'll learn how to use your voice to acknowledge your present reality, express your feelings, tap into your God-given creativity, and speak your desired future into existence, just like God did in Genesis 1:1-4.
Whether you're facing conflict at home, bullying at school, or challenges in your community, this four-step process empowers you to become a creator of change. Join Martin the Coach, founder of Beyond Sasa CBO, and discover how your voice can shape your world and impact generations to come.
📖 Section 1: God’s 4-Step Voice Process (Genesis 1:1-4
Step 1: Acknowledge Reality
- God saw the formlessness, emptiness, and darkness
- He didn't ignore it—He acknowledged it
Step 2: Recognize Dissatisfaction
- God wasn’t satisfied with darkness
- He saw that light was good—He made a value judgment
Step 3: Tap Into Creativity
- The Spirit hovered (symbol of creativity)
- God imagined and designed a better world
Step 4: Speak the New Reality
- “Let there be light”—He spoke what He saw within
- The spoken word brought forth transformation
